The International Yoga Day was celebrated on a grand scale at various parts of East Godavari district on Tuesday. District Collector H. Arun Kumar participated in the celebrations held at the District Sports Authority Indoor Stadium along with the officials of various departments.
He expressed happiness over the participation of a wide section of people in the celebrations and added that it was a matter of pride for every Indian that the Yoga Day was being celebrated all over the world.
The day was celebrated at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, Andhra University’s PG centre and at various private and corporate educational institutions.
