US consulate in Hyderabad open on Saturday to clear student visas

The U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad will function on Saturday, December 12 to exclusively conduct nearly 400 student visa interviews.

Consulate authorities said the Saturday functioning was clear applications of students who have registered for appointments. Only students who are applying for the first or second time will be seen on Saturday. Students’ whose applications which have been turned down twice already should not register for an appointment on this day.

All students desiring a visa interview on Saturday must have registered and paid the required application fee. All application procedures would remain the same. The application fees must be paid at a designated branch of HDFC and two days after the payment, the student should log onto VFS (https://www.vfs-usa.co.in/Home.aspx) to schedule an appointment.
