Two survivors named Madhuri and Ananta Krishna, who sustained serious head injuries in the sensational Children Park house robbery case, were discharged from the Apollo Specialty Hospitals here on Tuesday after 15 days of treatment.

The attacker inflicted bleeding injuries by using a small, blunt hammer on the victims in the case. Prabhavati, wife of auditor Nageswara Rao, was the first to be attacked and she succumbed to the serious injuries on that day itself.

The miscreant, who was known for his single-handed murderous assaults, was stated to have committed the offence for gain. As he was using a small hammer hidden under his shirt, he was able to escape easily after committing such crimes.

After the murderous attack, Madhuri and Ananta Krishna were shifted to the Apollo Hospitals where a team of doctors led by neuro surgeon Dr. Ravi Dadlani treated them. The deep wounds caused by the heavy blows of hammer took time to heal for the victims.

It took nearly 150 stitches for the wounds on the victims, who thanked the doctors for giving timely treatment to them.
