PD Act against 4 red sanders smugglers

Kadapa District Collector K.V. Satyanarayana has invoked the Preventive Detention Act against four notorious red sanders smugglers on the proposals forwarded by Kadapa Superintendent of Police P.H.D. Ramakrishna.

The PD Act was invoked on Jangala Bhadraiah alias Veerabhadraiah, 55, of Chintarajupalli in Vontimitta mandal in Kadapa district, presently residing at Tirupati; Venumbakam Sudarshan alias Sudarshan Reddy, 28, of Magunta Layout in Nellore; Nafeez Hussain, 40, of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Badrul Hussain alias Hasan Bhai, Hussain Bhai and Pappu, 54, of New Delhi.

They were taken into custody and lodged in the Kadapa Central Prison, the SP said.
