Overwhelming response to ‘Valmiki Ramayanam’ test

Overwhelming response

Hundreds of women from different parts of the two Telugu States turned up at this small town in Konaseema region of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh to participate in an exclusive written test on ‘Valmiki Ramayanam’ on Sunday. As many as 2,200 women participated in the day-long test held in four parts and won prizes such as golden necklace, refrigerator, washing machine, sarees and compact discs on the Ramayana. The Konaseema branch of Parameswara Seva Samithi, in association with the Amalapuram Gosala and T.L.P. Publishers, conducted the test .
