JNTUK holds workshop on mathematics

JNTUK College of Engineering here on Thursday conducted workshop on “New paradigms on mathematical modeling and its applications to engineering and technology”. Y.N. Reddy, former professor of NIT, Warangal, who was the chief guest shared his insight on mathematical applications with the participants who included students from various engineering colleges and faculty.

He said that workshops would give an exposure to enhance knowledge. K. Srinivasa Rao, Professor in Statistics, Andhra University, spoke on Stochastic Models in communication methods. Prof. Ravindranath, resource person, explained multi-criteria decision-making models and its application in engineering subjects. Principal of the college G. Yesu Ratnam and faculty members were present.
