The 67-hour countdown for the launch of PSLV-C26 began at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) at Sriharikota near Nellore at 6.32 a.m. on Monday.
The rocket will be launched at 1.32 a.m. on October 16. The pre-launch activities are in final stages of progress.
Carries IRNSS-1C
The PSLV-C26 will carry the IRNSS-1C, one of the satellites of the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System. It is already integrated with the launching vehicle by the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
