The district administration is leaving no stone unturned to make the celebration a grand success, by showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the State.

Collector Kantilal Dande and Joint Collector Ch. Sridhar have been supervising the arrangements for the festival. Inspector General of Police N. Sanjay and SP (Guntur Rural) P.H.D. Ramakrishna have also finalised the bandobust for the event.

The administration has sought permission from the Election Commission to hold the event, since the model code of conduct for MLC elections is in place.

The EC has given the nod, with a caution that no political statements should be issued and no promised be made to the people during the event.

Two separate stages were being erected on the open grounds, apart from a stage exclusively for cultural programmes. According to the tentative schedule, the CM is expected to arrive at the venue at 9 a.m. and have a darshan of the presiding deity.
