AP govt transfers two senior IAS officers

The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday transferred two senior IAS officers and also gave postings to four IPS officers who have been waiting for posting.

According to an order issued by State Chief Secretary S V Prasad, Special Chief Secretary Sripad Bhale Rao of 1975 batch has been transferred and posted to the General Administration Department while Md Shafiquzzaman of 1977 has been posted as Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises Department.

On repatriation to AP cadre from the Centre, IPS officer of 1982 batch Anurag Sharma has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Greyhounds, the elite anti-naxal squad.

Vinay Ranjan Ray (1986) has been posted as Inspector General of Police (Training), Kripanand Tripathi Ujela (1994) has been posted as Joint Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) in Hyderabad city police.

T Muralikrishna (1998) has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Octopus, the counter—terrorism wing of the state police. K Venugopala Rao (1998) has been posted as Home Guards Commandant, Hyderabad city police.
