2 debarred during D.Ed exams

Two candidates taking their first year D.Ed. exams were debarred in Tirupati division on Wednesday, the opening day of the session.

District Educational Officer Nageswara Rao confirmed the debarments and said that all steps were taken to conduct the examinations in a smooth manner. The official said that as many as 3,190 candidates were enrolled for the exams in 13 centres.

Four Deputy DEOs were involved in organising flying squads covering all centres, in addition to the regular sitting squads. The centres are at Kuppam, Punganur, Madanapalle, Piler, Puttur, Tirupati and Chittoor.
