1.9 lakh apply for EAMCET

Around 1.9 lakh students have applied for the EAMCET-2015 so far and the last date for submitting the applications online without any late fee is April 11.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) is conducting the test for the first time. Convener of the EAMCET-2015 Ch. Saibaba said here on the Monday that 1,23,231 lakh applications were received for the engineering stream and about 65,679 for the medicine.

Late fee

The applications could be submitted with a late fee of Rs. 500 till April 16, with a late fee of Rs. 1,000 till April 22, with late fee of Rs. 5,000 till May 2 and with a late fee of Rs. 10,000 till May 6.

Those who had already submitted their application forms could go for a data correction from April 16 to April 21. Students could log on to the website www.apeamcet.org for further details, Mr. Saibaba said.
