10 acres for TTD temple in Araku

The country’s biggest Integrated Renewable Energy Project (IREP) will come up at Pinnapuram village of Panyam mandal in Kurnool district.

The State Cabinet on Friday decided to award the construction work to Greenko Energies Private Limited.

Briefing the media on the Cabinet decisions, Information and Public Relations Minister K. Srinivasulu said that 1,000 MW solar power, 550 MW wind power, and 1,200 MW capacity standalone pumped storage capacities were the features of the IREP.

The government would accord permission through the single window at the earliest, and allot 4,766.28 acres land for the project.

The cost of the land would be decided by the Revenue Department, and the project was scheduled to be completed in four years, he said.

The Cabinet also decided to allot 10 acres land at Phanirangini village of Araku mandal in Visakhapatnam district for construction of temple by the TTD.

It also decided to allot 54.33 acres land under the CRDA jurisdiction to 13 organisations.

Similarly, it decided to allot 10 acres land to the National Institute of Disaster Management at Kondapavuluru of Gannavaram mandal in Krishna district. It was also decided to permit VUDA to acquire land for the world-class sports city and urban housing projects at Paradesipalem, Kommadi, and Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam.

The Minister said the A.P. IT 2014-2020 policy would be altered as A.P. IT 2018-2020. As per the new policy, the government decided that the contribution of IT to the GSDP should be ₹6,500 crore. It also set a target of creating one lakh jobs, he said.

The Cabinet decided to award the Eluru smart city works to Shapoorji Pallonji. The project cost was put at ₹1,233.17 crore. Rice millers who exported rice and paddy to other States between June 1, 2014, and December 31, 2015, can file their C forms up to July 31.
