We are keen on interrogating Headley, Rana

India was keen on interrogating terror suspects David Headley and Tahawwur Rana and it attached highest priority to getting information from the U.S. agencies on the duo, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao told journalists here on Wednesday.

"The activities of the two are a cause of concern to India. Obviously, we would want to have access to these individuals and information being shared [between Indian and U.S. intelligence agencies]," Ms. Rao said. India and the U.S. agencies were in close touch "24x7" and it attached top priority to unravelling the conspiracy involving Headley.

Ms. Rao said she was happy with the cooperation of the U.S. authorities and agencies investigating the matter. She declined to answer several questions on the issue, including whether Headley was a double agent. As investigations were on, it would not be "professional" on the part of government officials to share information with the media at this stage.
