The Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements for the third phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections scheduled for Tuesday in 11 constituencies. The campaign ended at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

As most of the constituencies are in the naxal-infested areas, men and materials already started moving to the polling stations from Sunday evening amid tight security by the police and the Central forces. In some places, IAF helicopters are being used for transporting the materials.

Polling will be held between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. The constituencies going to poll are: Bermo, Bokaro, Chandankiyari (SC), Dhanwar, Bagodar, Jamua (SC), Hazaribagh, Sikaripara (ST), Dumka (ST), Jama (ST) and Jarmudi. The election in the last four constituencies was scheduled in the first phase held on November 25. But owing to the problems in the supply of the Hindi version of nomination forms, it was put off.
