A 15-year-old boy was beheaded allegedly by his classmates who hanged the body on a tree on the bank of river Mutha here, police said on Sunday.
The incident came to light on Saturday when some boys who had gone to play cricket saw the body, hanging by a rope.
He reportedly had a quarrel with the suspects in school a few days ago and the tiff apparently led to the crime, police said.

The boy's parents lodged a complaint with the police who detained three minor boys in connection with the murder.
