The ex-Telecom Minister, A. Raja, was sent back to the Tihar Central Jail for 14 more days by a court here on Thursday along with Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa, the former Telecom Secretary, Siddhartha Behura, and the former Private Secretary to Mr. Raja, R.K. Chandolia, for alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum scam.

The CBI told Special Judge (CBI) O.P. Saini that investigations in the case were not yet complete. Mr. Raja appeared before the judge through video-conferencing facility from the Tihar Jail. The remand period for the four will end on March 17.

In response to bail applications filed by Mr. Balwa and Mr. Chandolia, the CBI had submitted evidence before the court that indicated that all four persons were involved in “deep-rooted conspiracies,” according to Mr. Saini.
