Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Geeta, who returned to India after 10 long years.
"Welcome Geeta. It is truly wonderful to have you back home. Was truly a delight to spend time with you today, " tweeted Mr. Modi along with a picture of them.
He also thanked the Edhi family for taking care of Geeta in the tweet.Adding to that he also announced a contribution Rs. 1 crore to their foundation.

The event is also being seen as a moment of "feel good" diplomacy between the two countries. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is expected to address the media in the afternoon.
