President Pratibha Patil has appointed Justice Kurian Joseph, judge of the Kerala High Court, as Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge.
Mr. Joseph, 56, has been a Judge of the Kerala High Court from July 12, 2000. He served as its Acting Chief Justice briefly, from March 14 to 17 last year.
