In another operation, the spokesman said, police assisted by Rashtriya Rifles busted a militant hideout when they raided the house of one Abdul Rashid Mir at Surasyar, 20 km from here, in Budgam district.

The search of the hideout led to the recovery of 49 Ak rounds, a detonator, an AK combination tool, three blankets, a gas cylinder and some kitchen items, he said, adding no one was arrested.
