Koli seeks new lawyer

Surinder Koli, one of the main accused in the sensational Nithari killings case, on Thursday told a court here that he wanted to replace his lawyer, saying he got death sentence in one case because of the advocate's “incompetency.”

Koli, in his application, said the defence lawyer provided to him by the government was not competent to deal with his cases.

Judge Shyamlal postponed the hearing till April 5. Koli wanted an advocate from outside Ghaziabad.
