Kerry's motorcade meets with 'minor accident'

US Secretary of State John Kerry’s motorcade was in a minor accident on Monday when he was on his way to Ahmedabad from the Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Gandhinagar.

“It was a minor incident. A dog came in front of the pilot car in the motorcade, which resulted in two cars touching each other. It was a spare vehicle for the VIP,” Gandhinagar Superintendent of Police Sharad Singhal told The Hindu .

The incident took place between Mahatma Mandir - venue of the Summit and Koba - in Gandhinagar. Mr. Kerry reached Ahmedabad airport by 2.38 p.m. for his flight.
