Karnataka MLA detained in Mumbai

Karnataka MLA Santosh S. Lad was detained at the Mumbai airport on Thursday in connection with case of fraud.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Rajnish Seth told The Hindu on telephone that Mr. Lad was travelling to London when he was detained by immigration officials.

“There was a look-out notice against him, issued by the Delhi police. He is now in Mumbai, but will be sent to Delhi,” Mr. Seth said.
