Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has sought the adjournment of the appeals against her acquittal in a disproportionate assets case, which was scheduled on February 2.

Since the hearing on the former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki challenging the promulgation of the President’s Rule in the State is fixed for February 1, the adjournment has been sought under the apprehension that the issue may spill over to the next few days.
