Hemant Soren, son of Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, resigned from the Rajya Sabha. The Chairman, Mohammad Hamid Ansari, accepted his resignation on Monday.
Mr. Soren was elected to the Council of States last year. Last month he was elected to the Jharkhand Assembly from Dumka constituency.
