Zuckerberg expresses support to ‘Digital India’

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Sunday expressed his support to the ‘Digital India’ initiative. He changed his Facebook profile picture to convey his appreciation for the Narendra Modi government’s effort to connect rural communities to the internet.

“I changed my profile picture to support Digital India, the Indian government’s effort to connect rural communities to the internet and give people access to more services online,” he wrote on his facebook page.

He also asked his followers to show their support to the ‘Digital India’ initiative.
