Centre sends Nadda, Ananth Kumar to oversee Bihar quake relief

Bihar accounted for the highest casualties so far, 51 out of the 72 deaths, reported in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who assured all help to earthquake-hit Nepal on Tuesday, took stock of the situation at a meeting with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

The meeting decided that Union Ministers Ananth Kumar, J.P. Nadda and Radha Mohan Singh will visit the affected areas of Bihar on Wednesday. They will inspect the rescue-and-relief work carried out by the State government at Raxual in East Champaran.
