All stranded pilgrims at the base camps of Baltal and Pahalgam in north and south Kashmir, respectively, have left for Jammu, according to the police.
A police spokesman said about 25,000 yatris , boarding 1612 vehicles from Baltal and 129 vehicles from Pahalgam, crossed the Jawahar Tunnel this morning.
Besides, the yatra resumed from Baltal and Pahalgam towards the Holy Cave in the morning.

“The air services are also going normally and 449 pilgrims left for dharshan by air. At least 2,799 pilgrims had dharshan at the Holy Cave on Monday,” said the spokesman.
Around 1, 28,946 pilgrims have visited the shrine since July 2. Kashmir is in the throes of violence following the killing of 22-year-old Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.
