Pilots of national carrier Air India in Chennai have called off their three-day strike over reduction in productivity-linked incentives (PLI).

“All the pilots have called of their stir and agreed to return to work from noon”, AI sources said.

They said the pilots had decided to end the indefinite stir following the Centre’s decision to constitute a committee to look into their demands, including restoring PLI.

However, prior to this announcement four flights- two outgoing and two incoming - were cancelled, airport sources said.

These included two flights to New Delhi and Mumbai, scheduled to leave Chennai early morning and two from Sharjah and Delhi, scheduled to land here this morning, they added.
