The ‘mini job’ syndrome

A “mini job” is a contract that can pay a maximum of €450 per month — full or part time, fixed term or indefinite. Social protection linked to such contracts is virtually inexistent. People need at least two “mini jobs” to make ends meet. Those who have just one such job receive a small sum as state unemployment aid on which to survive.
