Manning to speak at his sentencing hearing

Manning faces up 90 years in prison for leaking huge amounts of classified information to WikiLeaks while working as an intelligence analyst in Iraq in 2010.

Bradley Manning is set to make a public statement on Wednesday as his sentencing hearing nears an end.

Manning faces up 90 years in prison for leaking huge amounts of classified information to WikiLeaks while working as an intelligence analyst in Iraq in 2010. He says he wanted to expose wrongdoing and provoke public debate about the U.S. military and diplomatic affairs.

The witness list on Wednesday also includes a mental health expert and Manning family members, including his aunt Debra Van Alstyne.
