Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif sent Congress president Sonia Gandhi flowers last week when he heard of her illness, according to a news report in The Nation on Tuesday. At the request of the Foreign Office, the flowers were sent by the Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi Salman Bashir with a get well soon message.
