India has sent a note verbal to Bangladesh seeking details about Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational seven murder case, who was arrested by the Kolkata police on Saturday.
Disclosing this to the media, State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said that New Delhi has also sought more information about the arrested persons.
As India and Bangladesh have signed an extradition treaty last year, Nur Hossain and his associates could be deported to Bangladesh, officials said.

The seven victims were abducted on April 27 in the Narayangonj port city, near Dhaka. Their bodies were spotted floating in the Shitalakkhya river three days later. The victims included a panel mayor of Narayangonj city corporation.
Three senior officials of the elite anti-crime Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), who were already dismissed from the army and the navy, were also arrested on charges of executing the crime allegedly in exchange for large sums of money at the behest of Nur Hossain. Nur Hossain and his two associates — Zahidul Zaman and Salim — were arrested by the Kolkata police and charged under the Arms Act for illegal possession of a weapon and the Foreigners Act for illegal trespass into Indian territory without valid travel document.
Nur Hossain was produced in the district court in Barasat by West Bengal police on Sunday and remanded for eight days.
