Pakistan’s military on Tuesday said its warplanes have targeted three militant hideouts in a Taliban stronghold near the Afghan border, killing at least 20 insurgents.
An Army statement said on Tuesday morning’s “precise” air strikes also destroyed two ammunition depots of militants in the Khyber tribal region in the country’s northwest.
The identity of the dead was not immediately known and the military gave no further details.
