A man has been arrested in the U.S. for biting a police dog while trying to evade arrest.
The man from New Hampshire, who was not identified, unsuccessfully tried to hide under a pile of clothes to evade arrest over the weekend and then put the police dog in a chokehold and bit it on the head.
The incident took place on Sunday when police arrived at a home in the town of Boscawen following reports that a person had been shot, police said.
