Resettlement not satisfactory, says Ranil

The issue of resettling Tamils in Sri Lanka will be raised in Sri Lankan Parliament next week, said Ranil Wickramasinghe, former Sri Lankan Prime Minister and United National Party leader, said here on Wednesday.

Mr. Wickramasinghe, who was here on a day-long visit, said the work of resettlement of the displaced Tamils by the Sri Lankan government was not satisfactory. Along with Tamil MPs, his party would raise the issue in the Parliament next week.
