Ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is reportedly “ailing and bedridden” and cannot walk without help, local media reports confirming that the toppled leader was still in a holiday villa in the Red Sea resort of Sharm al-Sheikh.
Egyptian daily ‘Al-Masry Al-Youm’ reported that soon after moving to the resort, the 82-year-old Mubarak who ruled Egypt for 30 years was gravely ill and slipped into a coma.
But a pro-government newspaper denied the report but said the leader was in severe psychological condition and was declining treatment.

Mr. Mubarak is staying at a villa in the grounds of the Maritim Jollie Ville Hotel, owned by one of the Egypt’s leading businessman, Hussein Sale, who is a close member of the ex-president’s inner circle.
The Egyptian President had been in Germany for gall bladder treatment months before the protest against him started.
Britain’s ‘Daily Telegraph’ quoting witnesses at the resort said, that the former President may be suffering from cancer.

It quoted Egypt’s Ambassador to Washington Sameh Shoukry as saying that he had been informed that the former President’s health had taken a turn for a worse.
