Gaza’s Hamas rulers have executed a man convicted of collaborating with Israel.

Hamas’ Interior Ministry said on Thursday that the man was put to death by a firing squad. His execution on Wednesday was the 11th in Gaza since Hamas violently wrested control of the territory in June 2007.

It was carried out shortly before Hamas signed a reconciliation deal with the rival Fatah movement to form a unity government.
