Singapore has appointed career diplomat Karen Tan High Commissioner to India.
Ms. Tan, who joined the Singapore Foreign Service in 1985, will take charge of her new post on February 14, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Wednesday.
She was Ambassador to Laos from February 2004 to August 2007 and she served as Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organisation and to the World Intellectual Property Organisation from September 2007 to December 2010.
