The Indian High Commission here has assured Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry that a thorough investigation would be carried out into the attack on the Maha Bodhi Centre, Chennai.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry said the Indian High Commission had also assured the Ministry that action would be taken to ensure the safety and welfare of the Maha Bodhi Centre and other Sri Lankan institutions and establishments in Tamil Nadu.
