The Annamalai Nagar police on Thursday arrested a Sudanese national on charges of possessing 700 g of ganja. The accused was identified as Stephen Arkansilo, 25, of South Sudan, studying at the Annamalai University.
The accused disclosed to the police that he had procured the contraband from Puducherry and sold them to students in Chidambaram. Investigations are on.
