Association demands action against those who attacked a teacher at Lawspet

The Joint Action Committee of Puducherry State Lecturers’ Association has urged the territorial administration to take action against those who attacked a teacher at Lawspet recently.

A resolution was adopted at the meeting of the association held here on Monday. S.K. Subramanian, coordinator, presided over it.

While registering strong protest over the attack of the teacher at his house, the resolution said that if he had done anything wrong, the law should be allowed to take its own course. But, a group of people, in the name of staging protest, had barged into his house and attacked him.
