Schools reopen after summer vacation

All the government, government aided and private schools reopened after summer vacation in Puducherry on Monday.

The government had postponed the date of reopening of schools from June 3 to 10 due to prevailing heatwave conditions.

The officials of the School Education Department had made special arrangements for the distribution of free books, notebooks, and uniforms among children of government schools.

A senior official said that admissions were still continuing and the complete information on enrolment would be available at the end of this month.
