Leading artists, sculptors and handicraft experts from various States will be displaying their products at the fourth edition of the Puducherry Road Show here on February 21.
The road show organised by the Puducherry Fine Arts Association is part of the annual calendar of events and will feature over 250 artists from various parts of the country.
Talking to reporters here on Monday, Malathy Rajavelu, president of the Association, said the road around the Bharathi Park will be split into a row of stalls exhibiting works of art and sculpture of mostly young artists, a good number of them from outside. There will also be live demonstration of paintings by artists.

A committee has been formed to look after all arrangements, including accommodation for artists from outside Puducherry, she said.
Sand image exhibits and workshops on water colours are also part of the events.
Chief Minister N. Rangasamy will inaugurate the road show.

The Puducherry Fine Arts Association is currently accepting applications from artists for the event.
Those interested can collect the application forms at the Sega Art Gallery on Needarajapier Street on payment of entry fee of Rs. 250. Last date for applications is February 15.
The logo for the event was also launched.
