The Lieutenant Governor should immediately intervene and take corrective steps to improve the power situation in the city, he said.

AIADMK Legislator Om Sakthi Sekar has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to immediately provide house site pattas to residents of Periyar Nagar who have been residing in a private land for the last couple of decades. In a memorandum to Lt. Gen. Singh, he said that despite submitting memorandums to officials concerned the government did not take any steps to give pattas to the residents.
