Jipmer’s new tie-up with Japan

Jipmer’s telemedicine unit which is regularly holding video conferencing sessions with institutions across the world has initiated collaboration with Japan’s Kyushu University.

Jipmer, which already shares knowledge via video conferencing with the U.S. (Harvard University), the U.K., France, Germany, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Australia for various departments, has added the Japanese varsity for its Department of Surgical Gastroenterology.

As a reciprocal measure, the Director, Telemedicine Development Centre of Asia, Kyushu University, Japan, has recognised Jipmer telemedicine activities and invited Jipmer director to participate in the 9th Asia Telemedicine Symposium (ATS2015) to be held on November 13 and 14 at Chungbuk National University Chungbuk, South Korea, a press note from Jipmer said.
