Major reshuffle of IAS, IPS officers in Puducherry

The controversial former Registrar of Pondicherry Central University Raajiv Yaduvanshi has been transferred to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mr. Yaduvanshi took charge as Registrar in December last after he was deputed for a period of three years. However, he was relieved recently from the post following a dispute between him and Vice-Chancellor Chandra Krishnamurthy over the administration of the university. A Central Committee from the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development conducted an enquiry with them.

Mr. Yaduvanshi had also been at loggerheads with Chief Minister N. Rangasamy when the former was Finance Secretary.
