The 2014 edition of Indo-French Festival will begin here on Wednesday.
The festival will be conducted with the active participation of the Department of Tourism Puducherry, Alliance Francaise Pondicherry, French Embassy India and Navayuga Consultancy, Puducherry. It will be held on different dates for three months to showcase art and musical events. As part of the festival, a chain of musical events will be conducted between February 16 and April.
Releasing the schedule of events, P. Rajavelu, Minister for Tourism, said it was in continuation of success of the first and second edition of Bonjour India (2009—10) and (2013). Bonjour India had an estimated 35000 visitors for its shows.

As many as 23 programmes had been selected for the festival. It was yet another opportunity for Puducherry to host the Indo French Festival 2014. It would reflect wide spectrum of exchanges between the two countries, displaying musical concerts, literature, cuisine, exhibitions, cinema and others.
Earlier, the Minister released the guide of the festival, which was received by K.K. Singh, Director of Tourism, Fabrice Mongiat, Director of Alliance Francaise, S. Anandavadivelou, president of Alliance Francaise and B. Mohandass, Managing Director of Navayuga Consultancy Service.
