The counselling scheduled for MBBS and BDS courses through Centralised Admission Committee will begin at 8 a.m on Thursday in Pondicherry Engineering College campus, Pillaichavady.
Clarification
Chairman of CENTAC G.Ragesh Chandra clarified that the seat allocation of Scheduled Caste category applicants will be held on Saturday as the CENTAC is yet to receive the order of Madras High Court on a case relating to admission of candidates.

He also added SC candidates who were called for the counselling to be held on Wednesday can avail the benefits of getting selected under General Quota as per their merit on the day itself.
However SC quota of seats will be only be allocated on Saturday, after the receipt of the written order of the Madras High Court. Until such time these seats will not be filled up.
Therefore, the candidates who are appearing for counselling for seats in the specific category of SC are directed to attend the counselling session in CENTAC office on Saturday.
