Career counselling planned for students

The Directorate of Employment and Training has decided to conduct another session of career counselling and awareness programme to the students who passed out of 10th and 12th standards in Puducherry region.

The programme aims to motivate and guide candidates on various courses available in and around Puducherry and other parts of the country. The Directorate has also planned to conduct career counselling classes to unemployed youth of Puducherry so as to equip themselves to participate in competitive exams.

A press release said interested individuals, officials from government or private schools, colleges or universities are required to conduct such programmes. Inviting applications from resource persons who are well-versed in such programmes, the Director of Employment and Training said remuneration would be paid as per government norms to the selected resource persons.
