The Lycée Français of Puducherry has announced the test for admission to its International Section of Excellence in Science (ISES) on April 25. Those interested must register before 12 p.m. on April 24, said a note from the school.
The ISES is targeted at students who are exceptional in science enter the equivalent of class 9 and complete schooling with a Baccalauréat specialised in science, the diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education. The ISES also gives students an opportunity to compete for the Bourse d’Excellence Major, a scholarship for higher education in France.
The school also has modules for non-French speaking students (6 to 14 years) to help their integration into the French educational system.
